As we are shortly setting off on an 8-day holiday break to both Suffolk and to Norfolk, this will be my final posting intil early May.......

We only have a 10 minute wait at the Teal Arms bus stop before we next board the 1545 Arriva North East service 15 to Roseworth (Rostrevor Avenue) that arrives there at 1648 on Saturday afternoon.

We then board the 1722 Stagecoach in Teesside service 37 to Thornaby (Railway Station), arriving there at 1742 on Saturday afternoon.

We take the 1751 Northern service to Longbeck arriving at 1814 Saturday evening

We then exit the station and board the 1738 Arriva North East service 64 to Middlesbrough (Bus Station), arriving there at 1855 on Saturday evening.

We have plenty of time to make our way into the station for the 1955 Northern service to Bishop Auckland, arriving at 2058 Saturday evening

Heading to the bus station, we then board the 2135 Go-North East service X21 to Gateshead Interchange, arriving there at 2256 on Saturday evening.

We take the Go Northeast service 1 at 2310 to Percy Main Norham Road/Morpeth Terrace, arriving at 2346 Saturday evening

We then call it a night before taking the seven minute walk to Percy Main Metro station and boarding the 0640 Tyne and Wear Metro service to St James, arriving there at 0658 on Sunday morning.

Let's have a 'nice' long ride in a XC Voyager to Penzance, leaving at 1240 and arriving at 2242 on Sunday evening

Edit - those are engineering works timings. On 'normal' Sundays (not that there are many) the train terminates at Plymouth

So a quick change of plan sees us leaving it at Newton Abbot at 1905 Sunday evening

We then exit the station and board the 1910 Stagecoach South West service 12 to Torquay (Union Square), arriving there at 1930 on Sunday evening.

We wait 20 minutes for the next Stagecoach 12 service at 1950 and continue to Brixham Town Square, arriving at 2031 Sunday evening

I must admit I'm pretty impressed with the 12, still maintaining a twenty minute frequency at this hour on a Sunday.

We then board the 2037 Stagecoach South West service 12 to Newton Abbot (Sherborne Road), arriving there at 2139 on Sunday evening.

We then take Stagecoach Southwest service 2 at 2210 to Starcross opp rail station arriving at 2307 Sunday evening

There is one train left from Starcross so we take it, the 2339 First Great Western service to Exeter St David's arriving at 2352 on Sunday evening.

We then take the First Great Western sleeper service departing at 0106 and alight at the blocks in London Paddington where we arrive at 0508 on Monday morning (That was the booked time yesterday anyway - although the train seems to be booked to arrive at slightly different times weekly!)

We then board 2S20, the 0845 London Midland service to Shirley, arriving there at 1004 on Monday morning.

We then walk to the bus stop outside the station and take the 1013 National Express West Midlands service 49 to Kings Norton Railway Station where we arrive at 1042 on Monday morning.

Taking the short walk to the bus stop at the top of Pershore Road, we then board the 1102 National Express West Midlands service 11C (the famous Outer Circle) to Erdington (Six Ways), arriving there at 1225 on Monday afternoon.

We continue round the circle on the next 11c at 1233 and get off at Acocks Green rail station at 1301 Monday afternoon that is if I've aligned the columns correctly

That particular service arrives at 1308; it's the service before which I posted that arrives at the station at 1301.

Exiting the station and heading to the Station Road bus stop, we then board the 1319 National Express West Midlands service 37 to Deritend (Adderley Street), arriving there at 1341 on Monday afternoon.

We take the 1358 NXWM 900 service to the NEC (Birmingham International) arriving at 1428 Monday afternoon

As tempting as it would be to hop on a flight to somewhere exotic such as New York or Dubai, unfortunately we must restrict ourselves to the country. We enter the railway station and board 1M50, which is CrossCountry's 1539 service to Macclesfield (just as exotic as New York and Dubai! ), arriving there at 1711 on Monday afternoon.
