I think that they are currently random chuck outs at the moment, so the hauled moves will either be one of them or a 67.

I think I've covered them all here. If I've not, just add it in on the service you see the set working! Hope I've helped in some way!

Think I'll go sit on Birmingham Moor Street platform for a few hours next Thursday just to see if anything is still a Class 67.

Thanks for all the information,
Ross

Does anyone know what is likely to be running Friday & Saturday this weekend please ?

With the FGW diversions via Banbury and strengthened/special Chiltern services to Birmingham, I'm planning a trip to watch the fun there - 68 haulage would be a bonus as I've not had a ride behind one yet :)

(I assume 'creature' = class 68 ? ;))

Saw the Banbury blue and white set in the West Hampstead area around 1415, appeared to be on the 1H50 1212 Birmingham Snow Hill to London Marylebone?

Yep. It was working a return from Marylebone to Snow Hill because the Watford block is on. The loco was 68015.

Correct
One of 2 67's remaining was or still is poorly, so 3 of the 5 services should be 68 hauled!

Does this mean that now both the 1015 & 1045 are both loco hauled? from London to Birmingham?

On Saturday, there was one 67 and at least two 68's running (one on the blue & grey set). One of the LHCS sets had failed on Friday, so Chiltern were a set down, otherwise I think they would have been running 4 x LHCS. Pretty much all of the 'Mainline' DMU sets were 7/8 car formations as well, to provide overall a two trains-per-hour Marylebone-Birmingham service (which was pretty busy). I suspect it will be a similar situation today.

The diagrams above are the normal diagrams. Today is different due to the west coast blockade. 2 skips and 2 creatures on silver sets
