Hello all! After sucessfully completing interview and assesment with GA for Revenue Protection Officer I received news that I had got the job earlier today :D However, the email stated that the job was fixed term for 12 months, which I find strange as I applied for a full time permanent position as advertised on the GA website. There were fixed term contracts available too, but I definately applied for perm. Has anyone else on here had a similar issue? And it would be good to know what depots you have been offered.

Congratualtions to anyone who also got the job, I can't wait to start my new career on the railways :D

The tests involve basic maths and English test. Then a test where you listen to a recording and you make notes. Then you are asked questions about the recording. After all that you will have a role play. I can't stress enough that in the role play you will be given instructions on how to start and end your role play. Follow this very carefully as that is the most important part of the role play test. If you pass all that you will be invited for an interview with the depot managers. They will ask you questions about your integrity and honesty. I hope this helps
