My daughter is about to turn 16 and she has an 11 - 15 PAYG oyster card (with photo). Her understanding is that she can still use it until September this year whilst she is still at school

Is she correct in her assumption or do I need to buy her an 16 - 18 PAYG oyster now?

As long as she lives in London then she is correct. It ties in with the 16-18 card needing educational verification which is difficult when still in year 11.
