Anyone going on these two? I'm booked on both, hopefully we'll get some NH 37s

You make think they are knackered, but 410 up miles platting on the 1st of December just gone was sommat else, absoultly massive, would have paid 5 times the tour price for that hock:

Oh No! I've only had 309 miles of 37423 and now all the neds will have more mileage off it than me! Thank goodness only service trains are real! :razz:

Little bit pointless speculating on whats gonna work the tour this far in advance. As long as its blue gets there and back, as the Greggs advert says, ' It'll do for me '

More interesting to see if the rat gets the full load of stock off the main tour, or if P&K stock is gonna be used. The full rake on things may resemble Talerdigg

Will deffo be the P&D stock as it will go from Queens Park as the Rat isn't mainline cleared. Doubt they will be up for shunting the charter stock which will overhang the platform by a mile anyway!

Now for the showing age bit I remember a Merrymaker from Sheffield in 1973 to Kingswear for a river cruise to Totnes and back

Tinsley provided 47173 for the main train and the P&D 'Lydham Manor' and a Pannier tank. The spoon dropped off and the kettles took the entire train to Kingswear with 13 on boy the runround at kingswear was fun
