SO; It looks to me like I will no longer be able to ride a DD from Wadebridge to Launceston or Okehampton when I next visit Cornwall (with the demise of the WG 510) - Is that right ?
(IF that's right, it will be a real shame compared to riding the new Enviro 400s of a few years ago !)
I hope to still be able to enjoy DDs on Stagecoach's new 6 and 6A !

KN52NFR has turned green and gained private plate K15wgh. The owners went for a lot of Bvt plates at black velvet so guess they like private plates.

On Facebook they had a post about the website being developed. Somebody asked the question when it will be up, and they replied on the 22nd:

"we hope to have the new website live and publicly available next week"

a 410 service to run Delabole to Launceston. Has stagecoach not taken on that particular bit of the 510?

They said "we hope to have the new website live and publicly available next week" on the 22nd. I would therefore expect it to be available one week later so say around 29th.

Remarkably similar to Xelabus' site; they are the outfit who took over the remnants of the Velvet operation in Southampton from WG. Probably the same web designer.

Don't like the TTs being imported from Travelline though; but gets them out of having to maintain them themselves, I guess.

The website was designed by "Find my Bus". They specify in web and marketing for bus companies so probably a large number of operators with the same design.

I have seen another addition to the Western Greyhound fleet today and it was a Plaxton Pointer bodied Dart T461 HNH still in Stagecoach colours and is fleet number 289. BX04 BXM was towed into Summercourt after expiring this afternoon.

I did a Ride Cornwall today. Every bus I observed was within 1 minute of scheduled departure, and that 1 minute may be a discrepancy with my watch.
I spent about 30 mins each in Truro, Newquay, St Austell and Bodmin taking photos.
I also travelled on 499YMK, and W671TNV along with a number of First buses and trains.
W671TNV is in Stagecoach livery. I will be slowly uploading to my Flickr over the next few days, I upload an odd photo whenever I get a spare minute. Havent time to upload all at once.

TN was only a valid prefix in 2007, substituting for SN07 for possibly obvious reasons....it looks like SN0T

You are both a letter out though,
Its YN53ZWE in Velvet pink with a blue heart on the rear sides.

Rumour is that it is cuts, with a load more deposited with the Traffic Commissioner as well asking for short notice cancellations because they can't resource the extra services they just recently registered. Hearing that the ones above include abandoning Fowey to First Kernow and chucking in evening and Sunday registrations, and abandoning the road to Liskeard.

Really is looking like First Kernow have pretty much won the battle bar the shouting now.

They don't currently operate a 590, but it appears when it was withdrawn many years ago the registration didn't get cancelled.

The 524/525 is only a timetable amendment, no amendment to route at this time.
At the moment they run 5 mins behind First.

I imagine the new owners are looking at frequency, amongst other things on certain routes. The 590 will be the 10th route between Newquay and Truro. Overkill?
