A bit of a last minute query, really, as it is ahead of a trip tomorrow

A group of us have previously travelled on buses in various parts of the country that have some interest - examples would be the likes of Hebden Bridge to Keighley and a couple of routes to Buxton, which are quite scenic, and the Witch Way bus from Manchester to Burnley which has nice buses and does a bit of a motorway run

Is there anything within the West Midlands, ideally that maybe join up a couple of railway stations (or not too far from them) for good interchange? Preference tends to be towards double deckers.
Will be using an nNetwork Daytripper

Also, are there many buses that serve Bordesley? Contemplating the feasibility of scratching it off the Parly

Yes, there are frequent buses from a stop right underneath the arch you come of. I did exactly that - did the parly, got off there, watched the station get locked up and jumped straight onto a bus back to the Bullring :) forget the number, but it was a frequent service so nothing to worry about!

Not quite the same level of scenery but you could head on the 9 from Brum to Halesowen or Stourbridge and from there to Dudley then to Bilston for the Metro?

One most people look at is the 11. Second longest bus route in the midlands (only beaten by Coventrys 360 service!)

Birmingham to Tamworth on the 110 ?

The 110 is a nice choice, I believe they're all the new models with stop names and on-board wifi although the Daytripper won't take you to Tamworth not sure of the exact boundary but I wouldn't go far past Sutton Coldfield.

If you want to change for a train you can choose Gravelly Hill, Erdington, Chester Road, Wylde Green (a bit of a walk compared to the others) and Sutton Coldfield - hope you like 323s

You can get a 49 between Solihull and Kings Norton or the 966 runs between Solihull and Birmingham International.

The 11 is an interesting route but the buses always smell (probably because of Big John's at six ways). I don't know a huge deal of the route but it does stop near Stechford station

edit: not sure if you're aware but Villa are at home tomorrow so I'd expect heavy loading on the 7, 65 and 67 at least. Possibly the 115 and rail routes between town and Aston/Witton

The 256 from Stourbridge bus station to Wolverhampton bus station via Wombourne is worth considering. Both termini are next to railway stations (Stourbridge Town and Wolverhampton).

I used to get the 49 a bit when in Brum one of those long routes, takes about 100 minutes because it uses what feels like every side road in South Birmingham.

For next time.

902-904-905 as they use Aston Expressway but stop not far from the Cross City line stations North of Aston, 902 terminates near Blake Street Station.

900 Birmingham-Coventry operates express Birmingham to Airport/International Station then all stops to Coventry, Airport/International Station is good calling point if you get bored

X51 good express route Birmingham-Walsall but i like the 997

A Daytripper wouldn't be valid to Tamworth.

I second this as it goes through some nice Staffs countryside.
