Chaz's Weekly Roundup

An average to poor week for points but this week's top manager is David (again...) with 74 points. 2nd place was ME so I'm improving . Interestingly a point now separates First and Second place, largely thanks to everyone's bum chum Ronaldo. Another shocker this week is Villas Captain Gareth Barry getting 20 points on the board. Also a poor performance from Minty has lead him to slip 18 points behind the leader Patchwork (Who the hell is that BTW?).

Next Gameweek sees Man United vs Arsenal so perhaps Ronaldo might drop points here along with Rooney. The verdict of Chaz is probably not given Arsenal's recent form but who gives a toss, I'm still not buying him.

So what are we thinking about the actual Premiership?
All my Premiership attention is focused on Pompey's race to catch Everton. 'Arry says it isn't possible, but when you look at the fixtures, you wonder otherwise.
Pompey have one last difficult game, Man City away.
Everton have still got to play Aston Villa, Arsenal and Chelsea. Goodison Park isn't exactly Fortress Goodison either {as opposed to Fortress Fratton }
For the top spot? Probably Man United, if only by goal difference?

Relegation? {Apart from Derby}. Easily Fulham and probably Bolton aswell. That end of the table is the 2nd season where poor teams have stayed up thanks to even poorer teams {Newcastle}

I have a feeling that Arsenal are out of the title race, they are only 6 points away but I can see them dropping points because of lack experience in the team. Chelsea are doing a lot better but I still feel that United will pip them by 3 points to the title.

Everton didn't have a convincing victory over Derby but I can see Everton losing against Arsenal and Chelsea and draws against Newcastle and possibly Villa. On the other half, the bottom three as it stands will go down. Bolton have the worst form in the Premiership since Anelka left (Even Derby are better by 1 point) and Fulham are lacking goalscorers. Birmingham will narrowly escape along with Reading. UEFA Cup is between Pompey, Everton and Villa. I can see Everton retaining the stop and pompey winning the FA Cup and gettingan UEFA cup spot that way.

West Brom, Hull and Stoke (play offs) will be promoted to the Premiership next season. Swansea, Carlisle and Doncaster (Play offs) been promoted to the Championship, Luton, Port Vale, Gillingham and Bournemouth all been relegated to League 2. League 2 Champions will be MK Dons, Peterborough, Stockport and Darlington (play offs) promoted with Wrexham and Mansfield relegated.
