Can anyone help me please?
As a young child in 1963 (probably the Spring/Summer) I remember seeing a blue liveried train on the mainline from Marylebone Station just North of Princes Risborough. I am not sure if the Locomotive was blue or if was the carriages, but it was definitely blue. My Grandmother always referred to it as the "Blue Train" so it was a regular service and not a special.

Can anyone help me locate which trains using a blue livery were using that line in 1963 please?

I want to create a model layout of the scene as it is one of my earliest memories.

Thanks in advance for the help.

As a child in the 1960s I saw the blue pullman go through Beaconsfield on I assume Paddington to Birmingham services. This would have gone through Princess Ris. but I don't know if they were running in 1963

It was quite probably a Blue Pullman from Paddington to the midlands, in those days it was still the western region route to Birmingham. Marylebone operated Great Central services until 1966 as well as commuter stuff towards Banbury.
