Just walked past St Albans, where trains going north were seemingly being turned around. No info on the screens, but didn't appear to be much confusion, and there was 10-12 coaches lined up outside for passengers.

Funny - after being a complainer last time - when NR/Scotrail decided to cancel everything North of Inverness because of predicted winter windy day a couple of weeks ago (which as most people realised - did very little in the real world) - I do think that this time the call was clearly right (at least up here in the North-North).

The forecast was clearly for something big - and it was Very big - especially round Inverness - North with loads of trees down and most of us feeling buildings shake through the night!
Power still off for a good number too.

Good call - and as for the coming potentially even bigger one on Thursday......we will see if they manage to call it right. Currently looking to be bigger further South so the potential for all those stringy things above the track to get a bit knotted

Notably, with the same storm hitting Germany, DB has suspended pretty much the entire IC/ICE service in the Hamburg area. So it's not just us.

The same cannot be said about St Pancras staff sending people to Kings Cross and Euston who are then having to come back as there are no services for them.

WCML seems to be running OK, from a quick look at RTT?

Well at that time according to EMT staff no services from Euston with connections however the St Pancras station staff were giving different information.
