Food options near Derby Station

End of the month I have nearly an hour in Derby, can anyone recommended a cheap food option (E.g. Tesco express) within 5-10 mins walk of the Station as don't want to pay the station prices as am a student.

You didn't mention what time of day you would be there, but they do good scotch eggs at the Alexandra.

5 mins walk, turn right outside station. Place is full of railway memorabilia as well, including the cab of a class 37 !!

Bugger all - it's a crap desert for food for some reason. Apart from the pubs that is.

What about Slack Alice's?

Used to go there regularly, pleasant place, nice cheap snack, like bacon, tomato and toast. Havent been for some time and Alice Slack has by now retired and it has a new name.

Straight out of the station down Midland Road towards LOndon Road and the Post Office. Opposite Winter's the photographers.

it's half a mile to Sainsbury's
