Modern Railways ran an article on this the other month which included the planned alterations to the station layout. If you contact them I dare say you will be able to purchase a copy of the issue.

Thanks, I'm aware of the MR Dec 2012 edition, but the detail outlined in my request is far less high level, i.e. more specific than the detail contained in the article.
I guess the hope was to gain information from someone here who may be affiliated to either the Derby Re-modelling program, to East Midlands trains, Derby Etches Park Depot or similar. Usually I'd have the schematics, but in this instance, I don't.

Fair do's Edwin and The Planner are normally very helpful with this kind of thing. If they don't end up posting on this thread you could always send them a PM.

Not had a finger in Derby. Might be able to get hold of something when Im next in the office.

Sorry my posts on Derby have been based on guesswork that happened to be quite accurate, rather than any inside information. But based on further guesswork I'd say the depot and Chaddesden sidings will be very little affected apart from some realignment of the depot receptions.

Modern Railways doesnt have anything to say about north of the station. Note that Derby Junction for Chaddesden is some way north. I read somewhere the crossings are to be speeded up but I cant now find it.

The Modern Railways sketch (which isnt necessarily accurate) shows the neaest entrance to Etches Park to the station in roughly the same place.

To get an idea of the layout as it is now you could look at the Google map though again I'm not sure how accurate it is.

In the process of producing post re-modelling validation simulator/timetable, but haven't been supplied with the usual data from NR that usually would have been.
If any of you do get hold of any further, or even current data that might be of use regarding my request, please, don't hesitate to respond.
