Will next years three tour offering by Pathfinder Tours going to be a winner?

For me, I've never had 37s down the Ironbridge branch or loco hauled into Ilkley.

Let's hope DRS will produce two rateable 37/4s, maybe 402 & 422?

Your comments are most welcome.

1 ETH and 1 NB would be much better.

Depending on the time of year, a pair of NB 37s would be better still!

Not that it will matter to me, I refuse to pay out such epic ching for tours where I need almost no track (the upcoming Buffer Puffer tour I only need a couple of curves/crossovers, no thanks then, I'll leave them blank instead!), I mean come on £99+ does take the mick a bit!

Also, what makes 37402 and 37422 so rateable? If we're simply talking sticky digits, I'd love to have 37408 put on the side, indeed for that matter 37411, or 37419. 37416 wouldn't go a miss either!

Of course, I'm only using the above numbers as each of them represent special moments in my bashing career. The important bit is the racket the 37s make!

Typing error, meant 401 not 402.

I presume Techniquest is taking the michael over 37408, next you'll be saying 431!

As I said, 401 & 422 would be nice, but I'm really not bothered which ones DRS chuck out, as long as they make the whole tour, not like 409!

Maybe there's time to swap one or both 37s during the 2 hour fester between the White Rose Kipper and Lancs Links ?

Epic yawn fest for the vast majority of that lot! It would be more exciting to do Five Ways to Birmingham New Street and back all day...

Sounds like a great night out, not bad cheap price for the night run, just need an advance to/from Crewe. It say's there's some hills, not wrong there, should be good for some 37 thrash, hopefully a winner too.

If there's spaces free I'll book on the night trip soon, thanks for the heads up!! :)

Sounds interesting, but tours 2 and 3 in the dark, so you can't see anything. I understand slotting it in on busy lines is a problem, hence the timings, but it's too late for me.

I`ve just booked on The White Rose Kipper, joining at Stockport & possibly leaving at Leeds after Bradford Forster Square, depending on how tired I am. Highlights for me are going loco-hauled to Glossop,Hadfield & Ilkley.

The full timings for these tours are on RTT, certainly the day time tour is in the system.:)

I'll point out that it won't be 401 405 409 422 or 423 on this.

For the first visit I doubt it but you shouldn't have a problem for the 0515-0529 stop
