Surface Pro 3 TV advert chanting

I am not usually affected by TV adveretising, but twice I have now seen this one which is accompanied by what sounds like a female voice chanting in a rather strange Fas Eastern language.

Can anyone on here let me know what language is being used in the chant?

It's a song that's been out for a while by a group called 2NE1 who not surprisingly are South Korean.

Good of you to find the answer. However, what is actually heard in the advertisement is nowhere as full as it and is just an annoying dirge. I wonder what possessed Microsoft to use that as a sound backing to a product advertisement.

I think it's to try and make the advert appeal to young people by using EDM music to make it sound incredibly contemporary.

As part of the adverts targeted demographic I must say I find the advert horrific. At one time this sort of 'music' was considered to be a noise. All I need to do is record my washing machine breaking down and remix it with the sound of some Class 465/1 traction motors and I'll have a hit on my hands.

People do indeed buy any old crap if it's advertised as being 'modern', including music and laptops.

That's half of the battle getting people to remember the advert, but the other half is getting people to buy their product, which I won't be doing anytime soon, due to lack of need or want. So in that respect they have failed.

I am neither likely to buy the "chant" and as a result of this annoyance, even if I were remotely interested in the Microsoft product involved, I would definitely be put off from purchasing it.

Not much of a "mission accomplished" by their marketing team...more of a "prospective lost sale"...
