Evening - new to this so please be gentle :)

Can anyone tell me exactly what time the 0721 Peterborough to Kings Cross (originated from Newcastle) arrived today.

Checked realtimetrains and no tracking available for the last part of the journey, contacted East Coast on Twitter and they don't seem to know either, so any help greatly appreciated - just want to know whether to apply for a refund

What time did it say on the station clocks when you arrived?

Lol - wish I had thought to look :D
Where was your final destination? Do you have & did you use an Oyster card for onward travel from KGX?

If so, that'd give you a rough time, and if it looks likely to be consistent with a 30+ late departure, put in a claim but make it clear you are unsure of the exact arrival time.

But if you're in so much doubt, then perhaps it's best not to claim!

By the way it'd be compensation (e.g. 50% of a single ticket), not a refund!

Final destination was Kings Cross and I was using a paper ticket rather than Oyster.

They said we were 28 late going through Finsbury Park so just wanted to check.

Perhaps I will just put in and caveat with unsure of exact arrival time :D

It's booked 7 minutes FPK-KGX, which is really more like 4 mins of running time, so you'd have had to incur a further 5 mins worth of delay to qualify!
