I agree, it took me ages on Traveline and Google maps to find what I thought would be acceptable, but I didn't want to take the easy option of just taking another train. So I hope we can continue from the village where I stopped the bus, because I liked its name.

I think that Manea railway station has only one through road in its local area which is the B1093 Fodder Fen Road, if this is of any help in resolving the query about walking from the railway station to a bus stop that would meet the maximum walking distance that is stated in the rules of this particular quick as fully detailed in the very first posting of this quiz.

After a very complex use of Google Maps and Traveline East Anglia, unfortunately the bus stop at Station Road, where the 0903 bus leaves from, is 0.8 miles away from Manea railway station. This bus stop is named 'Manea opposite Wisbech Road'.

As this move is invalid, can I continue on board 1E72, the 0909 Greater Anglia service to Peterborough, arriving there at 0939 on Saturday morning, unless anyone objects, which is absolutely fine?

On asking a couple of local residents about Saturday evening buses East Barsham, I am sadly informed that there are none and there is nothing to do but to take a walking tour of this very pleasant area and finding overnight accommodation in East Barsham, which, after a long sleep in a soft bed and a hearty Norfolk breakfast, we return to the bus stop to board the 0921 Norfolk Green service 29 to Wells-next-the-Sea (The Buttlands) that arrives there at 0942 on Sunday morning.

You are correct in that such a rule is not stated per se; however, there have been several occasions on this game where I have broken a journey overnight, mainly down the reasons you mention with it being difficult to tell when the next available service is in slightly more obscure locations. Not only that, but by us halting matters, the game comes to a complete stop. So I think it's best if we leave them be, unless such events have happened at busy stations such as Clapham Junction or Manchester Piccadilly.

I think that you have made a valid point here as when this new quiz was relaunched, it was hoped that constant stop-and-start problems that were really affecting the previous (and now locked) quiz would be a thing of the past.

But we must be mindful that NO challenges can be made after FIVE postings have elapsed after the said posting (See the supplementary second posting on this quiz with regard to the rules)
