Ex-First Class Coach on 5 Coach Meridians

Hello everyone.

A few weeks ago I travelled on a five coach Class 222 Meridian. I noticed that in the coach there were frames for curtains, which had been painted over in the standard cream colour. Also, there were additional lights on the overhead racks. This was obviously an Ex-First Class coach. So, I was wondering, do all 5 coach Meridians have an Ex-First Class coach? When the 222s were built (2003-2004) they were formed as 9 (222001-007) and 4 (222008-023) coach sets.
in 2006 the 9 coach coach sets were reduces to 8 coaches and these removed coaches were inserted into 22011-017 to make them 5 coach sets.
Then 222001-006 were reduced to 7 coach sets, 222007 was reduced to 5 coaches and the removed coaches used to increase the remaining 4 coach sets (222008-010 and 222018-023) up to 5 coach sets.

Quite a complicated life for a 'standard' class of multiple units!

Not to mention 222101-104 which were previously with Hull Trains and are still 4-car.

That'll be 222018, its the only one with a whole Ex-First Class Coach that was converted. 222007s composite coach is similar, the standard class end converted from First Class.

222018s converted coach is 60444 ex 222004 MFO.
222007s converted coach is 60442 ex 222002 MFO.

Looking at it there are a lot of swaps of coaches between units which werent strictly necessary.
