"AP450" Car Stop Marker

This is a car stop marker at Woking. I understand the "X" relates to 8-car units but what does the "AP" mean?

Attach Portion. First train in (either 8 or 4) draws up to the X mark, rest of the train comes on behind it. On P1 (pictured) happens every Sunday, all day.
