No winners from my trip to Cardiff today, most gutted All that time festering...

Quite a bit over the past week for me, mainly 'foreign muck' as some would call it:

September 7th: 17x SNCB (all these done during some rather desperate 'tunneling' after a visit to Brussels Beer Festival)

September 11th: 1x ME plus my last 350/4 from Manchester Airport

So 76 locos over the past week, not bad going.

Yesterday, My dad drove to Phoenix Park tram stop in Nottingham to drop my mum off for a bit. It was one of the new ones (217) so the kind guard let me, my brother and my dad on until Cinderhill free of charge. (We walked back)

The Skytrain is kind of like the Docklands Light Railway, because they are driverless. They are fun to travel in but it feels really strange to be on the right hand side instead of the left. There are loads of different networks, but I have only been able to explore the Waterfront to YVR Airport and Richmond Airport.

Which seems like a shocking list, but it did include my first ever visit to C2C and my first trip to Chiltern for a long time. It also reminded me how claustrophobic 390s are, in hindsight I had way, way too much time on Virgin!

Three new countries (Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey) have netted me 26 winners, 15 diesel (7 in Bulgaria including 2 narrow gauge, 7 in Greece and 1 in Turkey) and 11 electric (all in Bulgaria). Could probably have had more but I usually go for quality (ie, longer runs) over quantity.
