There are numerous sections of the North Downs which could be raised from 55 - 70+, the section from Pinks Hill to Wanborough almost dead straight for a good 1½ miles & from Aldershot South - East Heath (Wokingham) apart from the curve at Sandhurst, where I suspect that with a little superelevation it could be increased from 70 - 80.
Pinks Hill to Wanborough is dead straight is it?
When did they sort out the embankment raising and falling depending how much rain we have had because the clay it is made of acts like a sponge?
It might be straight in a left or right direction but it certainly isnt straight in the up down direction!
Oh it struggles with the left and right sometimes!
Yes I know its horizontal and vertical!
