Me n Fred went on the Oozlum Bird Number 2 Railtour yesterday with EDs 73206 and 209.

We left Datchet bang on at 7.00am and got to staines 7.15am, and waited for the 7.29 to Waterloo Calling at Feltham, Twickenham,Richmond and Clapham Junction. When we got off at Clapham we walked on the subway to platform 14 where 5844 took us to Victoria. On the Approach to Victoria we saw the two EDs at a signal and when we were on the final approach a lovely sight of 37422 making thrashy noises as it came up the gradient and on to the thames bridge and into victoria clagging then it shut off as we over took it and arrived into the Station.

Soon as we were off the train we headed to Platform 2, to get some shots of 37422 and watch the EDs arrive in and find are coach number. After that we went into are sat in are seats hung are coats up, and went to the avalible windows on either side of the carrige, and waited for the off at Victoria. When we departed it was started with a loud horn from the EDs and we were off up the gradient making some speed. The sunrise was fantastic as we made are way through Wandsworth Road,Brixton and Herne Hill, where we Diverged onto the line through Tulse Hill and headed towards Mitcham Junction and Sutton. When we go to sutton we slowly made are way to the Junction where the 'Wall of Death' route began, and most of the stations before wimbledon we trundled through at linespeed. When we got to Wimbledon We were heald outside for well over 10 minutes.

When the FCC 319 had left the station we went through the station heading towards Streatham, most Stations before we got to the Junction with the Brighton Mainline we were zooming through, with only me and James (73109) doing the heads out job. When we got to the brighton Mainline Junction we were held again til a few hundred(sarcasm) 377s had gone, and we swiftly made are way to Clapham Junction giving it some speed through Wandsworth Common on the Fast Lines. When we got to Clapham we went through the Platforms on a single yellow and made a quiet stop at Factory Junction. After the stop at Factory Junction we made are way again through Wandsworth Road and onto Crystal Palace.

We went through the Tunnels with James Flailing at Random people and got to the Mainline where FCC and Southern have fast and Slow lines to Norwood Junction. Passing Norwood Junction we waved at people and crossed lines to join the slows at East Croydon, soon we were on the Brighton Mainline again we got the speed up and made are way to Purley Oaks where we were greated with a double-yellow, after that on the Brighton Slows we made a big speed improvement of 80-90mph where only me n james were doing heads out on are side and I saw the signal inside one of the tunnels which frightend the life out of me, then after a while of speeding we slowed down for Redhill, where we crossed over to the North Downs, and after reigate we turned to Diesel and started speeding through the North Downs, with myself and Fred Flailing at most Stations to people fliming at us, as the Weather Was glourius, we then made are way to Shalford.

At Shalford Junction we were halted to let a Pair of 444s go and a Pair of 450s go before we were aloud to join the lines, we then joined the Pompey Direct and made are way through the tunnels with the driver looking back on his load 11 train. We then arrived at Guildford and made a brief stop and headed towards Ash and Aldershot, after slowly passing Aldershot we made are way slowly through Farnham on a yellow where we joined the single line and yet again made speed up through the Countryside, where we stopped at Bently to let a 450 go through and once again headed off to Alton, where we stopped for a few minutes for people to get off, and then we made are way to the loop for the 33 to join us, because both EDs couldn't make it up the Bank at Meadstead (The Alps), when we started off we had a big chug and we were off with the horns to acknowledge the off, climbing up the grade the 33 was pooring out clag as it was also pushing the EDs aswell. When we got to Meastead we passed 60019 ''Bitterne'', then we headed off to Ropley and Alresford.

On arrival at Ropley (we did pass through the station), we passed the storage line including a Peak and James the read engine (), and we then made the final few miles/yards to Alresford, where it took ages to let everyone off the train, then the 33 pushed the stock into a siding while the EDs when off somewhere else.

Part 2 Will Include the return.

Was it white or blue? Of course it could have been a combo, in which case that could explain why you think it was a 444 and Stephen thinks both services were 450s.
