There has been disruption in various places of the SWT network due to the bad weather today, heavy rain and hail along with strong winds.

Flooding and points failure at Fulwell means the Shepperton branch trains are not running past Teddington until at least 2100.

Earlier flooding at between Surbiton and Weybridge meant 15 minute delays to services.
Earlier flooding at Clandon suspended the line between Effingham Junction and Guildford.
Fallen trees earlier at Wareham and Axminster.

In addition to these, earlier there were overrunning engineering works on Lymington Branch and safety checks at Clapham Junction causing delays.

Mostly Glasgow-ish. Mostly.
Many people alighted back at Kingston from Waterloo trying to get back to points west of Fulwell, after SWT advised that TfL buses would accept rail tickets. Once at Kingston they discovered an almost unmanned station, zero information and zero buses (probably due to Ride London occupying the area's roads for most of the day). Wonder how many people are still stuck there?

I had this exact same problem when the maniac started walking the tracks at Waterloo. Was told there was ticket acceptance on the buses, yet the buses flat out refused to accept my ticket between Brentford and Ealing Broadway

Oh dear. The RideLondon event meant the 111/216 for Hampton and 216 for Sunbury were diverted to terminate at Fulwell Bus Garage (around the corner from Fulwell Station)! And it seems the line did reopen briefly but was closed again.

Alternative for Hampton would have been to go to Hounslow and get the 111.
For Sunbury and Kempton Park, either 235 from Feltham or 216 from Ashford.
Upper Halliford and Shepperton would be at the mercy of those Abellio Surrey routes that run on Sundays, from either Staines or Ashford for Shepperton or from Ashford only for Upper Halliford.

In this case it was zero buses in Kingston due to the RideLondon event! Normally they'd be able to get a direct bus to Fulwell, Hampton and Sunbury, changing for Upper Halliford and Shepperton, but there were no buses around!

From what I can see, the Abellio 458 service is only doing Staines <> Shepperton <> Walton all day. Service to / from Kingston nixed.
