And we catch one of the frequent 105 buses from the central bus station at 0550 touching in with our Oyster card as money is now of no use. The bus makes good time and gets us to Southall (South Road) just before 0614 Saturday morning.

We walk to the station and catch the 06:58 FGW service to Reading arriving at 07:43 on Saturday morning.

Eager to escape this part of the world we board the 08.05 FGW HST service to Exeter St Davids arriving at 09.52 on Saturday morn

Moving even further away, we next board the 1019 FGW service to Penzance that arrives there at 1322 on Saturday afternoon.

Wanting to visit St Michaels Mount and taking a chance on the tides we walk to Penzance bus station hop on the 1545 No2 bus service towards Helston and alight at Marazion, The Square at about 1556 Saturday afternoon

Unfortunately the tide is in, but we have a bracing walk around, then take the First in Devon & Cornwall 2 sevice from Marazion Silverhouse at 1702 to Penryn Hendra Chemist at 1825 on Saturday evening.

Not our day as the chemist had shut at 1 o'clock so we could not get something for the weekend.

So hopping on the No 88 which was right on time at 1912 Falmouth was our destination for fun.

Getting off at The Moor Falmouth at 1924 Saturday evening it was a quick trip to the ATM before the considering the hedonistic delights of Market Street.

We then walk to Falmouth Town station and board the 20:34 FGW service to Truro arriving at 20:57 on Saturday Evening.

Rules

You may not re-board the service just used in the previous post
You should use the first available service to reach your destination after allowing for the minimum interchange time.
You shouldn't wait for more than two hours after the first available service (to any destination) has left, after allowing for the minimum interchange time.
You may walk up to about half a mile when changing modes to a stop in the vicinity, if you wish.

It appears we are still at The Moor in Falmouth at 1924 on a Saturday evening

At 2015 on Saturday evening, we take the First in Devon and Cornwall 88 from Falmouth, The Moor, arriving Truro Bus Station at 2052.

Which lets us make the connection to the 2105 No18 bus to Cambourne which drops us of at Truo rail station taking less than six minutes for the journey of just under a mile. Looking at the clock we see it is just after 2110 on Saturday evening

We then take the 22:03 FGW service to Penzance arriving at 22:44 on Saturday evening.

Following the receipt of a number of PM, I have decided to end my self-imposed exile from anything non-rail related

We walk to the bus station across from the side entrance and find there is still a very late onward service available, so using our waiting time viewing the sea scene, we return to board the 2340 First in Devon and Cornwall service 17B to Carbis Bay (Count House Lane) that arrives there at 0010 on Sunday morning.

We then take the First Devon and Cornwall route 14A to Truro
bus station , departing at 1118 and arriving at 1254 on a Sunday Morning.

We next board the 1300 First in Devon and Conwall service 88 to Penryn (Harbour View) that arrives there at 1324 on Sunday afternoon.

The station seems to be in allowable walking distance, so let's take the 1430 FGW train to Falmouth Town, arriving 1438 on Sunday afternoon.

We next board the 1446 FGW to Perranwell, notifying the member of train staff as this is a request stop, that arrives there at 1501 on Sunday afternoon.

We then go and view Perranwell before getting back to the station in time for the 16:19 FGW service to Truro arriving at 16:26 on Sunday prevning.

The official minimum connection time just allows us time to board the 1631 FGW service to Liskeard that arrives there at 1719 on Sunday afternoon.

We then take the 17:35 FGW service to St Keyne Wishing Well Halt arriving at 17:48 on Sunday afternoon.

Taking the walk to the bus stop outside the Community Centre, we next board the 1836 Western Greyhound service 573 to West Looe (The Square) that arrives there at 1852 on Sunday evening.

We then walk the 0.3 miles to EAST LOOE opp Health Centre, where we board the Travel Cornwall 481 at 0800 to Polruan, The Quay which is reached at 0850 on a Monday morning.

From this terminal stop, we take the 0855 Western Greyhound service 481 to Polperro (Crumplehorn) that arrives there at 0920 on Monday morning.

A leisurely one hour bus ride awaits us as we board the 1143 Stagecoach South West GOLD service to Totnes (Royal Seven Stars Hotel) that arrives there at 1243 on Monday afternoon.
