Sugar, I meant the 1st of July. So yeah you were there on the same day as me .I wonder how many people passed out of the 6 of us.

I'm also curious as to how many people would make it to the interview stage.

I'm one of the six missed my phone call and haven't been able to make contact/haven't been contacted since trying again monday here's hoping

I live in crewe, so im very lucky, where you from? It should be at the crewe arms hotel which is right across from the railway station!

The turnaround does seem to be fast for the interviews, especially as some seem to have their stage 2 well into August. Are we to assume there may be multiple training intakes, i.e. one starting very soon like September and one later in the year or early next year I wonder??

Can someone tell me if those who are going for their medicals have passed their DM interview?but And which TOC it's with. I'm assuming medicals come after DM interview but just wanted to check.

Hi people, I had my interview a couple of weeks ago, and today I received a letter inviting me to a medical. I haven't heard anything els so I'm left wondering if I pass my medical will I still be on a shortlist of potential candidates or do you think I'd of secured a position? Probs going to give them a ring Monday but I'm not sure weather to be excited or not lol

Hi Andy just wondering what the exact date of your DM interview was, so i no roughly how long after my DM i should get my medical date through if successful?
Had my DM interview 3rd of july. Also if you dont mined when is your medical and is it for Graduate train driver Heavy Haul. Thanks. Also, this is for every one, i was told by the manager in my interview that the course is to start mid August this year.

Hi sk, medical does come after managers interview, I had mine for the HH graduate scheme on the 30th June and I think my med is on the 28th, so about a month after, but judging by other peoples posts it looks like there's going to be 2 intakes as some are Only just starting to get interview dates
I was never told any dates when the course would start but was told it could be about 2 months, wouldn't of thought it would be mid august for me as I wouldnt be able to work my notice

I don't like to jump the gun so I won't believe I've been successful until I'm signing a contract, Although people I've spoke to say they wouldn't bother putting you on the medical if you hadn't passed the interview stage.
So for me it's the same as always, a wait to see what happens

Im sure i saw you on the FGW forum or TPE. In my experience with other TOCs if youve got the medical then youve got the job providing you pass medical of course.

I wouldn't worry to much, some people are still waiting on an interview so the whole process still has a while to go yet

Im sure i saw you on the FGW forum or TPE. In my experience with other TOCs if youve got the medical then youve got the job providing you pass medical of course.

Yes SK i have applied for half a dozen TOCs/FOCS over the last 12 months, i have a medical with freightliner later this week so hopefully should get a letter fairly shortly!

I had my DM interview 19 Jun at crewe, got my medical call forward yesterday.

I would imagine 2 if not more, staggered intakes in September / October.
Many people, myself included, still have to progress through the Stage 2 tests and structured interview - mine is on Thursday.

Bearing in mind most will have to give at least 4 weeks notice for their present jobs, I would be surprised if, post-medicals, an intake would be planned for August though??

Had my DM interview today. They did say it could be up to two months before they contact me!
