Hi all,

I was looking at WNXX this morning and found that 47810 has been re-painted into the DRS 68 livery, the same one that is on 37218. I was wandering if anyone had any further pictures or information about wether it will stay with DRS for a while.

Much appreciated,

Fishquinn.

57310 has just passed Slough in the new DRS colours heading light towards London. I think this was an ex-network rail one.

It was at the DRS open day looking immaculate, I have some photographs but not online sorry!

It's condition (immaculately clean bogies and so on) at the open day and the new livery suggests that it could be with them for a while still :) but I did notice that the livery is actually all-over vinyl wrap as opposed to paint, so that could suggest that it may not be as long term :/

I was there as well and it did look good.
Here are my pictures.

No, didn't get a picture, it was just passing as I got off a train from the opposite direction. Would have been at Slough around 15:15 but looking on real time trains there doesn't appear to be any timings for it so don't know where its gone either.

Did they paint it at all or is it 100% vinyl on the sides?

Fully repainted, then with the DRS Vinyl added on top. This'll be the first of the now Ex Network Rail hired 57s as they all make their way over to DRS (the leases have already transferred across).

Speaking of which, it's rather sad to see this gaining 47802s name plate I feel, not just knowing that it rather confirms 47802s fate with DRS but also as a 57 that's now the 'Pride of Cumbria'.
