Wagon identification

I was wondering whether anyone could identify the blue wagons that sit at Micheldever almost permanently, as seen in the background to this video.

They are WIA articulated car carriers.

The in use fleet is used constantly on car traffic to Southampton - I think these are the few that are out of service - either because they are knackered or surplus to current requirements.

The active WIA fleet are used on three flows:

- Jaguar cars from Birmingham to Southampton

- Minis from Oxford to Southampton

- Minis from Oxford to Purfleet


So trains of WIAs pass the stored examples at Micheldever several times a day!
