Hi all,

I've just had a quick flick through the huge list of 19 Service alterations, for Farce Going Where's website, when I came across this howler of a mistake:

17:35 Penzance to London Paddington due 23:36
This train has been revised. It will additionally call at: Lostwithiel, St Germans, Salisbury and Ivybridge

As a result, the LDB page on the NRES website, now shows the trains calling pattern between Liskeard and Plymouth as:

Liskeard Arr19:08 No report _
St Germans Arr19:14 No report _
Salisbury Arr19:21 No report _
Plymouth Arr19:35 No report

Salisbury to Plymouth in just 14 minutes, on a Paddington bound HST.... IMO, that really is transforming travel!!

The average journey for that journey, before the invention of super-fast FGW HSTs, was around 3 hours+.

First Great Western have really improved, haven't they?!

Now, all i need to do, is phone an Indian-based call centre, which pretends to be FGW, and get one of their idiots to tell me that Salisbury is located between Plymouth and Liskeard, and that it only takes 15 minutes from Salisbury to Plymouth......

They have a drop-down box. Obviously goes 'Salisbury, Saltash' etc. It's why Silverlink did/London Overground do sometimes say Stafford instead of Stratford. Easy mistake for someone to make.
