A new feature has been implemented into the 144, which is a wider panoramic view of the cab. It makes it seem very realistic in my opinion.

Just to confirm, as D9521 said, the Class 142 no. 142088 has no connection to the Class 142 v2 which will be available from BVE Routes & Trains in the near future.
I would just like to encourage the use of BOTH versions of the class, because they different significantly in their performance and sound. Zane's version is specific to 008 so performs solely as that unit does and is ideal for those routes set in the Lincolnshire and Yorkshire area. BRT's version is non-specific, and gives a wider range of scenario possibilities.

If you ask me, I think Ryan has done an excellent job creating a database of current & future realeases for BVE4. I'm sure if you visit BVE Railnetwork, you'll see other people have the same thoughts as myself.

Not really, most drivers tend to like them for their layout.
As Class313 implied, the small end of a 153 is quite cramped.

IMHO it would be better if it was on its own, unbiased site. That way the database can't lean to favour RN routes instead of say, BRT routes.

I've give them a proper run another time, but the initial impression I got wasn't that good.
I've just had a quick drive of both trains and neither sound like any pacer that I've ever ridden on, and I've travelled on a few! The cab seems too quiet and the motors sound more like the heater!

The only i found was the lack of bounce, flange sounds and run sounds. Its not easy to hear the jointed track and the engine sounds, which are quiet in the passenger saloon which is right above the engine are louder in the cab that the much louder wheel sounds.

I've seen it - but I still think it should be done independently of any other developers site - purely because of leaning towards of announcing RN project releases faster than any other, which IMHO is leaning towards bias.
