Are Advance Tickets only available online?

Quick question: I have some delay repay vouchers to use up, which can't be used for on-line booking. Can I use them to buy advance tickets at a ticket office, or are advance tickets on-line only?

You certainly can use Rail Travel Vouchers to buy Advance tickets, which are not restricted to on-line sales.

You can use them at a booking office if you wish, for any ticket sold at a booking office, including Advance tickets.

Another option that members have reported some success with is using them through First Great Western telesales, which will ask for a debit or credit card payment for the full amount of your booking, and then refund the value of the vouchers when they receive them from you by post.

True, though any vouchers issued by East Coast can be exchanged for e-vouchers

You have to remember that some booking offices won't issue Advances (and/or reservations?) at certain busy times of the day. I think there's a list somewhere but can't remember it off the top of my head.
