SC East Scotland Twitter reporting today that the toilets on the B13s are now in opperation now that a depot upgrade has been done.↲

Rumours in the past few days that Stagecoach will lose schools in the North East Fife re-tender process in August. Claims have been made that Moffat and Williamson, Travel Dundee & National Express will take over many routes.

With M&W losing heavily last year it wouldn't be a surprise if they sharpened their pencil this time round, so highly likely they have taken work from stagecoach this year.
Not sure if Bay travel are still in expansion mode or not?

A very interesting move. Never been a fan of the E400H and i look forward to these coming in - a ride will be essential!

5 Enviro200s have been delivered to East Scotland for Perth. I believe there's another 40 buses to be delivered to East Scotland this year, including the Volvo hybrids, plus some coaches.

The 5 E200s are currently being stored at Aberhill. At least 9 new coaches will be allocated to Fife for the X58/X60 routes. I would imagine the X54 will also be allocated new coaches, although I haven't heard this.

So: -
18 Volvo B5H/ADL 400 for Arbroath.
14 Enviro 300 for Glenrothes.
10 Enviro 300 for Perth.
5 Enviro 200 for Perth.
Total confirmed = 47
plus a "Possible" 9 coaches.

There are new coaches for Arbroath and Dundee due for the X7. The current coaches will move to Fife to replace some of the B7 profiles. Then any B10's in Strathtay and Perth will be replaced by the B7's.

The only coaches on the order were for Aberhill, unless that has changed.

It's not that long since the X7 got new coaches - the Elites were new in 2011.

I can't see the X54 getting new coaches, it really isn't a big money spinner. If X59/X60 get nine it will be bang on what is required, so B7 wont be going anywhere soon.

Any news on the new council contracts for North East of Fife?

Do you know which routes these double-deckers are for? I shall be staying near there in early August so it will be brilliant if they are in service by then!

No, there are no coaches on order for Aberhill, .....and no changes have been made.

Although it's amazing how many times one mistake can be copied and pasted across t'internet!!!

I can assure you that I've seen solid evidence that B11RT/Eliteis were intended for Aberhill. I can't put a date on this list, but I do know it was genuine.
Incidentally, I didn't get the list, but a photo of the summary. So yes there is some room for interpretation as the resolution isn't great, but IMHO it's unmistakably East Scotland (Aberhill) on the list.

Aye, seen the same list, with the same error. I never said it wasn't genuine, just that it was an error, and it has now been repeated many times. The joys of the internet.

So 11 should read 9, with 5 presumably going to Arbroath and 4 to Dundee? Guessing there must be a frequency upgrade or something as current PVR is only listed as 6.

I thought East Scotland was not due any coaches this year? I think people are getting ahead of themselves.
