so no sign of the Cambridge (and Kings Lynn) fast services being taken over by the ECML franchise post 2018 (thameslink through running) then? Long been a rumoured idea. Doesn't kill off the idea of using IEP SET for those services, of course. But to me it would indicate the 365s are more likely to stay put.

Aren't they supposed to be going through the Thameslink core?

AIUI the Thameslink service from Cambridge will be a semi-fast; the fast services from Kings Lynn and Cambridge will run to Kings Cross - there's a section in the TSGN Stakeholder brief that describes the Thameslink service and then adds:

4.102 These [the Thameslink trains above] will be in addition to the fast King’s Cross trains to and from Cambridge and King’s Lynn. Overall, this will provide an extra two trains per hour into central London off-peak.

And confirmed in the ICEC ITT. There's a detailed section in box 5.2 on pages 53 and 54 on what TSGN services the ICEC TOC must allow for. Too long to quote it all, but the off-peak southbound pattern is
C) 8tph over Welwyn Viaduct southbound in each hour 1000 to 2159 (measured at King’s Cross or St Pancras). 
4tph (2 from each of Peterborough and Cambridge) run to and from the Thameslink core, running slow line to call at Stevenage but fast line from Woolmer Green Junction to Finsbury Park non-stop; 
2tph Cambridge Express to King’s Cross, running fast line, non-stop, from Hitchin to King’s Cross; and 
2tph Cambridge line to Thameslink core, running fast line only from Woolmer Green Junction to Digswell Junction (calling at Welwyn North).
