Does anyone know how Oliver Cromwell Steam loco has been performing recently? I have just seen a mainline tour advertised that may be using this engine which I quite like the look off.

It's a cracking loco (one of my favourites) but is currently out of service having firebox repairs for at least the next couple of months; which tour were you interested in?

I've started a new thread regarding the tour on this forum. I've also booked myself on to it (wife brought it as a present). Never had any issues with RTC myself. Failures & cancellations can/do happen. Just one of those things IMO :lol:

A fine locomotive. Good to see it on the main line after all those years giving footplate rides at Bressingham Gardens.
