Today I was caught out by surprise by seeing a steam engine - hauling a single maroon coach (presumably for traction?) and in black British Railways livery.

Does anyone know what it was. It was also named but I couldn't make that out either!

With regards to your EC queries, I am struggling matching Platforms up with EC services at the time you state.

EG Trust shows Plat 3 with a GC Sunderland service and 4 with a FCC Kings Lynn service.
Plat 1 showing a First Hull Trains to Hull ...

Thanks for the 59 info.

It was as I pulled out on the 06:53 KGX-CBG. It is confusing then I noted:

Plat 0 had 91124
Plat 1 had 91121
Plat 3/4 had 91116
Plat 5 had 91132
Plat 6 had 91128

Then as I passes Harringay at 07:06 was 91114 'City of Durham' heading southbound on an ECS on the down slow 2 line.

How strange.

Not been on the ATW network since the Valleys bash, and aye it is. One day...

As for 150105, pretty sure that's STILL on Tyseley for repairs. Has been for ages
