Bless you Sir. The platforms at Dukeries Junction were at the point where the L.D & ECR cross the GN; however the chord up from the GN was before you reached Dukeries Jn station.

Thanks Paul. I was down there a few weeks ago as part of my duties - i cover the emergency crossover at Tuxford which is in the cutting about where the SB used to stand.

I think that you will find that the line from Creswell and Welbeck heads towards Sheffield Midland which is not the one that is on the Great Central Main Line. The station in Sheffield we need to pass through is that of Sheffield Victoria.
Now there is a diverging difference of opinion between us after Shirebrook North railway, as my route still has two further stations upon the Lancashire, Derbyshire and East Coast Railway, before taking the chord that enabled the line to join with the Great Central Main Line, which are...

My mistake. I had followed the route from Langwith Junction via Creswell & Welbeck, Clowne South (Clowne & Barlborough), Spinkhill, Upperthorpe & Killamarsh before joining the GCR at Killamarsh South Junction, not realising that we were actually taking the Chesterfield Market Place line and diverging at Arkwright Town Junction to join the GCR that bit further south at Duckmanton North Junction. The pre-amble wasn't specific enough when faced with a complex multitude of routes to the same location. The original pre-amble was posted on 27th February 2014, 18:41 and amended (as shown below) on 5th March 2014, 10:01. However that amendment, shown in Red has no bearing on this particular matter.
