Greater Anglia/DRS 47s Norwich

Could anyone tell me if the DRS Class 47s on the short GA rake in Norwich tend to work the same diagram when in use or do they turn up on anything?!

Also if they do tend to work the same diagram does anyone know what it is?!

They always do the Yarmouth run as GA tend to take the DMU off that route to replace the shortages on others

The 47s can't go to Sheringham due to short platforms the Cambridge route is too far and possibly slower over the period of time

Suppose it could go to Lowestoft but GA favour Yarmouth

This is getting stupid now, Northern should have loaned GA a 156 or 2 by now.

In a perfect world yes but in the last few weeks the franchise extension has been thrown into chaos. Why would they agree on anything unless overwritten by the DfT?

Would appear Crown Point worked their magic overnight & that the Duff Fest continues this morning on the usual diagram starting with the 06.11 Gym.

Would appear Crown Point worked their magic overnight & that the Duff Fest continues this morning on the usual diagram starting with the 06.11 Gym.

Until they managed to disgrace themselves on 2P20 (1235 Yarmouth). Although they look to be staying in service.

Brakes seized up on 47818 at Brundall Gardens....37 minutes later following advice from (i assume DRS), Brakes released and on the way to GYM! Duffs remained on for the 1436 back to GYM off NRW.

Yes but they physically have enough stock to run all their trains unlike GA, the only other TOCs that use 156s are EMT, who often have to use 153s in their place and SR who seem to distance themselves from the rest of the TOCs, this as well as both company's being owned by abbellio is why it should be northern who loan stock

Unit situation much better. Did kick out one day only to get stranded at Lowestoft for hours thanks to Somerleyton Swing Bridge misbehaving. Supposed to be booked diagrams from Monday.
