Well next you need to wait for "the phone call", where they will officially offer you the job pending satisfactory medical and reference results. Then you will wait for your welcome pack and contract. You will need to sign about 3 million forms (not sure I lost count), stick a couple of passport pictures on your Travel Pass form then send it back to them. Hopefully the course you start on isn't so imminent so that you are able to have your medical before you actually start.
Either way you have an exciting few weeks ahead, once again well done and I look forward to one day working with you.

Well done. It's great reading how everyone is doing at each stage and then the amazing news of passing stage 2.

I'm still waiting for my results of the stage 1 day, seems an age ago now.

What is your notice period with your current employer Red18, just wondering why you never got offered a place last week when Wall88 did. Unless there was only one place available on the 24th of Feb course and you just lucked out?!

I suppose we're all forgetting that passing stage 2 does not automatically guarantee a job offer. Let's hope that's not the case though.

I have a four week notice period (but so did Wall88)
Wall88 did his stage 2 a couple of days before me so I'm hoping what you suggest was actually the case. Fingers crossed

I am waiting for that "phone call" every call I get I am jumping at it but its always someone else. Usually my wife to ask me if I had heard anything yet! I hope that we do get to work together Sunday!

Well done 302PS. I know how you feel now as Red18 says we have done all we can do for now so we just wait to see how it unfolds.

Good luck Louby tomorrow.

been watching this thread with interest seeing where everyone is up to, i applied at the same time (Jan 4th) and still hadnt heard anything back until today when i got an email saying we are still sifting through applications and will be in touch. Now obviously i know they have been conducting interviews and assessments but at least there is still hope. Anyone else had to wait this long?

Yeah, good luck Louby!

and TPC, as long as you haven't had a 'no thx' letter then you are still in the hunt.
It could be they want to get this batch of assessments out of the way before starting another batch.

Thats what im hoping for, i have applied before and didnt get past the initial sift but had the no thanks after around 3-4 weeks so its slightly more encouraging, i also sat stage 1 assessments last year for another TOC and passed but was put on hold and then heard nothing, its a slow process!

I asked a member of my family who is a conductor the same question in November last year.

He said he is paid every fourth Friday and his November payday was the 8th, hope that helps.

In the mmi I felt I wanted to give more and carry on with my answers but the interviewer would pause, check his list and then just go "ok" and move on
Anyone else feel that?

Is anyone else still waiting for results of the stage 1 tests on the 7th?

The last 3 days for stage 2 are mon/tue/wed next week, really hope there's good news.

Yes, it appeared they had a list of criteria for each section and once they had crossed those off it was onto the next bit; no point in carrying on I suppose.

A guys on there is in the same position as you and he got an email yesterday saying that things are taking a little time due to the high number of applicants.
