We now move to Scotland for the next journey....
This quiz is number 145 so far....
The journey starts at the closed station of Nethy Bridge
It follows the line of the Strathspey Railway
It then follows the line of the Keith & Dufftown Railway
It then follows the line of the Great North of Scotland Railway main line.
It then follows the line of the GNoS Denburn Valley Line
It then follows the line of the Aberdeen Railway
It then follows the line of the North British, Arbroath and Montrose Railway
It then follows the line of the Arbroath and Forfar Railway
It then follows the line of the Scottish Midland Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Scottish Central Railway
It then follows the line of the Edinburgh and Glasgow Railway....using the Ratho loop line
It then follows the line of the East Coast Main Line
It then follows the line of the Kelso branch line
It then follows the line of the Cornhill branch line
It then follows the line of the Newcastle and Berwick Railway
It then follows the line of the Wansbeck Railway
It then follows the line of the Border Counties Railway
It then follows the line of the Hexham and Allendale Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of Allendale

To add extra info to the previous game.
28 August 1841 B&T station opens as Holywell
April 1860 B&T station renamed Backworth
27 June 1864 B&T station closes, a new station named Hotspur opened nearby on the same day. This was subsequently renamed Backworth and closed in 1977.
Back to current matters.
I believe there were two stations between Cromdale and Advie. Dalvey Mains (Dalvey Farm Halt) and Dalvey.

I did make a note in a early posting upon this new journey that after the opening closed station of Nethy Bridge upon this leg, there was the small station of Ballifurth Farm Halt
For information purposes, there were four halts on this line that were opened when the railbuses were introduced:-
