Most of the time yes, however in my case of Lockerbie it meant I HAD to take the 2230 to Edinburgh, even if I wanted to go southbound, which meant I had no choice.
As I say, the idea is to keep moving where possible and not to just wait around to go somewhere where you personally want to go. It's not that unusual in a game to be left in a situation where there is only one valid move.

Beforehand, there never used to be a two hour maximum rule.
Although not explicity stated in the original rules, it's not a recent addition.

Absolutely, and generally I do keep moving about; it was just slightly different at Lockerbie.

I was on moderation for nearly a year so I missed this.

Taking the opportunity afforded to change our mode of travel, we enter the railway station and board the 0718 Virgin Trains service to Lancaster that arrives there at 0756 on Saturday morning.

We then board 2Y53, the 0823 Northern service to Leeds, arriving there at 1019 on Saturday morning.

The idea of the game is still to keep moving, having only one service available does not make the situation different. The last post left us at Lockerbie and since there was only one way to keep moving without waiting around a long time we have to take it.

We next board the 1203 Northern service to Howden that arrives there at 1227 on Saturday afternoon.
You can reinstate that if you want, my previous post was invalid due to misreading the previous arrival time.

I know, it was just annoying as there was no other choice.

We next board the 1203 Northern service to Howden that arrives there at 1227 on Saturday afternoon.

We then board 2R98, the 1342 Northern service to York, arriving there at 1425 on Saturday afternoon.

We exit the station and we are just in time to catch the last bus of the day from Sankey station, which is the 1904 service 29 operated by Network Warrington. We take this to Warrington (Bus Interchange), arriving there at 1914 on Saturday evening.

I believe there are no more buses deaprting from Sinderland Green for the remainder of the day, so on Sunday morning we board the 0839 service 247 operated by Arriva North West to The Trafford Centre (Bus Station), arriving there at 0925 on Sunday morning.

That would be an achievement... Malton only has one platform. ;)

We continue on the 10:27 Manchester Metrolink service to Droylsden (Manchester Metrolink) arriving 10:50 on Sunday.
