Photo of the Botley 'landslip' on SWT's website, it seems it's more like an embankment failure to me:
I reckon that site is about a mile south of Botley station, given the curvature of the track and what looks like water just visible on the left of the picture. I think it is a tributary of the River Hamble that you cross on the road next to the Horse and Jockey pub, for those who know the area. There might even be a culvert under the track if I have the right place: http://goo.gl/maps/q2An6
