Ashchurch - Chippenham season ticket

Hi guys,

Any routing advice on the below would be gratefully received as the FGW sales staff couldn't advise!

Season ticket from Ashchurch - Chippenham.

Is the permitted route valid both via Kemble and Bristol? If so would it also be valid via Swindon, Hullavington and Bristol Parkway?

Any help much appreciated. Thank you.

Yes, valid via either Bristol then Bath or direct to Chippenham, or via Stroud and Swindon to Chippenham.

I don't know how you can go directly between Bristol Group (Temple Meads, Parkway, plus other minor stations) and Chippenham without going via Swindon, so I think what they mean is Bristol Parkway, Swindon then Chippenham.

@BB21 when I last looked, Chippenham was between Bath and Swindon

Oh, I don't mean the OP, but it's the Routeing Guide that's showing a line going Bristol Group - (avoiding Bath) - Chippenham - Swindon.

Yes I was asking if Ashchurch-Parkway-Swindon-Chippenham (and/or Ashchurch-Swindon-Parkway-Bath-Chippenham?) is valid. It sounds like it is which will make things a whole lot more flexible. Thanks all for your help.

Yes, anything within the area bounded by Ashchurch - Cheltenham - Gloucester - Parkway - Temple Meads - Bath - Chippenham - Swindon - Stroud - Gloucester is valid.
