also around 1800 a 4 car class 142 was sat in Newcastle station on platform 6 for around 5mins presumably heading to Heaton depot, I saw the units but was too far away to see unit numbers.

I'm afraid this is rather vague as there could have been several there during the day. Perhaps it might help if you stated a time otherwise identification could be quite difficult.

It was early afternoon, about 2ish, it was the only class 70 there.

There an unusual East Coast ECS from Leeds-York via Doncaster at 2104. Looking for the loco and dvt booked on this? If it helps I think it'll be formed from the 1803 KGX-LDS

Also loco and dvt for 2000 KGX-YRK please.

Ok, this morning one of those sets failed at york prior to working the 0857 to KGX. Think it will have been 91106 judging by booked platforms.

67024 went past me just south of york heading for the station, around 0915. I missed the photo walking back to my car to get warm, but wasnt too bothered as I figured it'd be coming back with the failed set.

Then nothing! It didn't pass me southbound and I went past the station on my way home and nothing there either. What happened to it? Nothing on realtimetrains although the light enfine move wasn't either.

It's got me a bit confused but it appears to be a diagram swap , the unit on 2Z67 is 143603 and it has made it to St Davids as 2C45 from St James Park .
