I do believe that this would have been 92038 working 4M01 North and 4L18 back South

Thanks very much. I find the headcode numbers a bit confusing at times on Real Train timetables! But it would be correct and I did once again see it going south but couldn't catch the number!

Anyone know what Class 70 was at Bescot Yard last week - 14th January 2014? Saw it from the M6 but couldn't see the number.

OK here's one.

I am working on a SimSig timetable for the Whiteball blockade according to the WTT of Monday 20th January 2014 as given on opentraintimes. I have two evening trains as follows:

1V62 1100hrs Glasgow Central - Taunton, arr. 1916 (Taunton, Platform 3)
1M83 1951hrs Taunton - Birmingham New St., dep. Taunton, Platform 5

Both trains ran according to RTT. But some questions which I hope can be answered:

1. What was the correct traction for 1V62 and 1M83?

2. I have put all the non-HST CrossCountry workings as Class 221s which I hope is correct. Does anyone know otherwise as I wouldn't expect XC to have that many 221s!

3. I guess that 1V62 became something else (5V62?) and did a reversal to get into Platform 5 at Taunton to depart again as 1M83. It can't have stayed at Platform 3 because train 1C91 (17:33 London Paddington - Taunton, due 19:41hrs) was also booked to use Platform 3 and I saw with certainty that you wouldn't get an HST and another train into P3 at Taunton I don't think. So does anyone know the correct code, timing points and times I can use for this movement? Neither OTT nor RTT have anything so any info appreciated.

I'm afraid this is rather vague as there could have been several there during the day. Perhaps it might help if you stated a time otherwise identification could be quite difficult.

TODAY (Weds 22nd Jan)

Please can someone with access please confirm the unit numbers for all the following services below, I passed the units but didn't see the unit numbers:

0748 York to Leeds via Garforth

0819 Leeds to Morecambe

2011 York to Leeds via Harrogate

also around 1800 today a 4 car class 142 was sat in Newcastle station on platform 6 for around 5mins presumably heading to Heaton depot, I saw the units but was too far away to see unit numbers.
