A friend of mine travelled from Sheffield to Brighton as folllows:
The Victoria line problems the other day meant that the train to Brighton was missed and my friend was asked at Victoria to buy a new ticket.
If the delay had been on the Megatrain rather than tube would that have allowed my friend to get a later train to Brighton?
How best to book this journey next time to be covered for delays in London?
Thanks
- Sheffield to London on a megatrain ticket
- St Pancras to Victoria on Oyster (allowing one hour)
- Victoria to Brighton on an advance ticket
