Whilst driving my car I just passed a 37 on Mill Street in Rugby outside the main entrance to the Colas Rail facility. It was looking very smart in what looked like freshly applied Regional Railways livery but with no number!

Does anyone on here know what 37 it is ans also what it was doing on the low-loader?

37421, bought out of preservation to be used by Colas. Previous owners still hadn't finished painting it!

Depending on who you believe they also have 37175, 37116 and possibly another.

The numbers quoted are: 37116, 37175, 37216, 37421. With this report and the news from Bo-Ness that last weekend was 37175s last run in pres then it's a pretty true bit of news.

Definatley 37421 saw yesterday, also 37069 on the blocks at dirft and the two 37/7 stabled side by side in the tesco terminal. Just like the old days when 37's were common around the Rugby area.
