67 Instead of 158 for Arriva

I was just wondering if anyone has heard any news about Arriva using a 67 being as a 158 is going to France, and when it's likely to start etc

I don't know when it will start but currently Arriva are driver training with class 67s running between Crewe and Holyhead

What about the times of running and will it run on a Sunday if there is any services? i'm currently looking for something to do Sunday 16th December, i am also thinking GC HST London - York, if there up and running by then.

I doubt it would be Sunday as Arriva probably have enough 158s to cover their services on Sunday - but don't hold me to that

Word is that it was to start next month, but January is the month now making the rounds.

Its still doing a daily appearance at the moment on the NW Coast tho!

A 67 cannot be released for any decent length of time until the RHTT season is over. At the moment it is on a day to day arrangement.
