Stone Traffic From Ribblehead

G'day everyone,

I'm just curious to know whether the Ribblehead - Leeds Hunslet stone train still runs. I'm staying in Dent Dale all next week and will go and have a look if it's still running. I'm assuming here that the departure time is still 11.11 (this was the case when I saw the train run in October).

The trains which ran for a few days last year were a one off
contract for construction work at Leeds Hunslet itself.

It is hoped that a more regular flow can be secured in the future,
but nothing it running at present, I'm afraid...

Thanks for that. As a rail freight terminal I think that's pretty much it for Ribblehead for the time being!
