Leeds - Hannover

Hey guys

I'm looking at travelling to Hannover in mid to late April for about a week and wondered how much the cost and what the journey length would be if I went via the tunnel. I can't say I can find any websites (on my phone) that will show me anything from England to Hannover.

Anyone able to help?

London-Hannover takes 7.5-8.5 hours (unless you have to stop overnight somewhere). For cheapest tickets change in Brussels & Cologne, ICE only Brussels-Cologne. Book via DB website for London-Hannover and Eurostar domestic sales for connecting UK ticket

You can book the DB "London-Special" ticket 3 months in advance - doing a test booking for early April will give you an idea of likely cost, though the Easter holidays may affect prices a bit.

A 10.58 departure from St Pancras will get you into Hannover around 19.30 and gives a civilised departure from Leeds, and returning at 08.30(ish) likewise.
The later outward train at 15.04 gives a very later arrival, but the second return 12.30 ex Hannover is also OK unless you need to use public transport for the last leg home!
It won't surprise you that the 10.58 (and the 07.45 ex Leeds!) is very popular and will be relatively expensive: the cheapest fares tend to involve staying overnight in Brussels or Liege (DB allow you to put in stopovers) but for the outward journey might be worth it even with the hotel room.
