10229 is how the refurbished ones will look outside, except with the new logo which I guess was omitted from 10229 as it was finished before the new logo was produced.

The first coaches to be refurbished proper are taking longer than expected, but they are being done!

Why not go whole hog and slap a DB sticker on the bodyside along with the red stripe

In think the Livery looks quite professional (well it would) and it looks nice, but I wonder how dirty it may get before the spring arrives. I would like to see a whole set with the mk3s and DVT

Being paint as opposed to vinyl it shouldn't allow the dirt to get ingrained & will look better longer.

A picture has been posted in Flickr which I discovered shows the new greater Anglia livery in daytime and at a stop. I still like the livery, it doesn't look too good with the one railway mk3s though

Yes. Only crew doors are going to be grey.

Was pretty dirty when I worked it last night but should come off easily as I could write on the side. Darn thing is still on 3 legs though with No1 T/M still out. Only saving grace is lack of stock so short formed sets. Not much chance of getting a load 10.

Sorry, my mistake. Confirmed on Class 90 Electric Loco Group and by Tottenham Flyer on the repaints thread. Don't know where I heard that

Whilst on 156418 yesterday, I noticed that this unit's refurbishment is slightly different to others such as 402 and 419. This unit retains its old fluorescent lighting, and the seat grab handles don't have holes in, like an ATW 150. Anyone know why?

On a slightly off-topic note, 156416 seems to have a few of 422's old East Suffolk Line tables.
