Fatailty at Denbigh Hall South Jn, not a lot else at the minute.

1H12 0820 Euston - Man Picc the train involved.

Slow Lines are apparently now reopening. There is a queue...

I believe 1H12 0820 VT London Euston - Manchester Piccadilly may have been involved.

Owing to a person hit by a train between Milton Keynes Central and Watford Junction some lines are affected.
Impact:
Train services running through these stations may be cancelled or delayed at short notice. Disruption is expected until 11:00 22/11.
Customer Advice:
Cross tickey acceptance agreed with:
East Midlands Trains = between Sheffield / Derby / Leicester and London St Pancras International; also between Manchester Piccadilly and Sheffield
Chiltern Trains = between Birmingham and London Marylebone
East Coast Trains = between Scotland / Leeds and London Kings Cross
London Underground = on any reasonable route
London Midland
First Great Western
First Capital Connect
Cross Country = on any reasonable route
First Transpenine Express
Northern Rail
Coaches requested for:
MKC x 10 ETA 09:45-10:00
Luton Airport Parkway x 10 ETA 10:00-10:15.

Looks like a few trains from London Euston to Manchester have been cancelled this afternoon because of this.

Was it 390152 that was involved as this unit had just arrived onto Longsight as I pasted this afternoon and the coupling cover was severely damaged.

I do despair when reading the VT Twitter feed sometimes when something like this happens and the whingers complain & bitch about the VT services being delayed/cancelled/overcrowded as a result...

Just out of interest, how much influence do affected TOCs have in situations like this? Once you have a PHBT, can the TOC do anything to get things moving quicker or must they wait and do nothing until given the all clear by, eg, Network Rail or the BTP?

My instinct is they have no say until the scene is released by the relevant parties
