I applied last week for the recent application for trainee train driver, has anybody heard anything or know how long it takes?

Application is still open, closes 22nd November. So best guess would be mid to end of December before you hear anything.

No, had my interview last week. I believe Lindsay was away until Monday, but I did hear that it could have been Thurday. I'm going to wait until this afternoon, then bang an email to them.

I thought this was the last week for the medicals, looking at the original advert. I know these are subject to change though, and from speaking to someone who works for them, they are not the quickest at doing stuff. There are only about 3 people working in recruitment.

Is this Lindsay the same contact for everyone? I applied for thornaby and the lindsay im waiting to hear from is on holiday until tomorrow, is this a coincidence??

Yes i believe Lindsay is the HR Manager and she deals with it all, however owing to the fact she has been on leave for a few days not sure if we would be contacted tomorrow as probably a thousand things to catch up on, friday would be nice though

Sent mine via emailed Last Saturday. Haven't heard anything myself but from reading the forums it seems most TOCs take a while to sort through their recruitment process.

She wasn't sure, either January or May, depends on the course dates. I'm beginning to suspect May, but only as Eastleigh wasn't on the original advert for this intake. I suppose that doesn't mean that much, they'll put you where they want you, and Eastleigh was my original preference.

Just need to get the offer in writing, then I'll believe it.

Congrats ......I got a phone call today offering me a trainee driver position and my start date is also 6th Jan but she did say the location for the training isn't confirmed yet. I'm still stuck for words , don't think it's properly sunk in yet !

I'm going to Birmingham next week for my medical so fingers crossed there's no hiccups with that.
